My blog was just started last July of this year, so I’m not able to post my vacation trip in the Philippines last March. It's just one month vacation from work, so before that I’ve already plan where, when and who’ll be my companions for that exciting trip. I just need to maximize and be organized in terms of my schedule for the whole month. Being with my family and catching up some of my friends is my top priority. That was only once a year vacation so I’ll made most of it! I’ll be posting my first ever out-of-town with them (I consider them as my travel besties! Har-har!)
Shiela, Jouie, Bry and I decided to took a tour around Vigan-Loag-Pagudpod. It was a three days trip with them. Almost 12 hours trip from Manila to Ilocos Sur and Norte, You can’t blame us we didn’t feel anything in our butt HAHA!!! First destination was in Vigan. As we arrived, our tour guide slash driver (sorry I forgot the name already) was waiting to took us in a hotel to freshen up our self and getting ready for a tour. So to make our 3 days trip short the following photos will show you the rest of our trip. Enjoy!
P.S
It felt so nice to be far away from the city with all of them. It was such a well deserved and appreciated break for all of us, and we took the time to unwind with endless talk until wee hours of the morning. Well, I guess one of the reasons why this trip meant a lot to me is because I live so far away from everyone now and I hardly get to see them. For them to take time off their hectic schedules to bond with me is really something. I can’t wait to see everyone again and give them big mushy hugs of love! To everyone reading this post right now, why don’t you take a few seconds to tell your friends how much they mean to you? It may seem strange but it will definitely put a smile on their face today!

Our Day 1, first stop was in the Mansion of the Crisilogos. It is open for public viewing throughout the week. As we entered the museum there’s a lot of antiques & memorabilia of the Crisologo steeped with history. On the first floor we found the antique calesa, old car, stoned built library where visitors like us can view the book collection of the family. The museum is managed by the Crisologo family and is well-maintained.
Second stop was at the famous Calle Crisologo. I was so excited to go here not just because of the amazing old stone and wood houses around the area but also since I've was watched the horror movie Spirit Warriors, a horror film movie which they taken here I've promise to my self that my eyes will see those place someday. Taduhhh! I've got what I've promise to myself :))
Third stop was at Baluarte. The place has a numbers of domestic animals like monkeys, chickens, large lizards (bayawak) and rare big bird species. For me, the main animal attraction is the big tiger!
The fourth stop was at Malacanang of the North. It was build as the official residence of the late President Ferdinand Marcos in Ilocos Norte. It is a two storey building which is located near the legendary Paoay Lake. The mansion have the magnificent garden and expansive terrace when you can see the entire view of the lake.
Fifth stop was at Paoay church is one of the national treasures of Ilocandia. It was built in 1896 by the Augustinian friars that bring the feels such as Spanish era. If Italy has its leaning tower of Pisa, here in Loag City has its own local version – its Sinking Bell Tower which located at the heart of the city.
On our Day 2, a lot of places are waiting for us. Sun is up, sky is bright and the heat is too hot to handle, but it’ll never stop us invading the beautiful places such as Cape Bojeador Lighthouse, Kapurpurawan Rock Formation, Juan Luna Shrine, Pagudpod beaches, Patapat bridge and the Bangui Windmill. Such a tiring but productive day for us.
On our Day 3, "last day :( " of course we don't want to go back in Manila without experiencing the Lapaz Sand Dunes. Philippines is just so lucky to have this own dessert place. They no need to visit the Sahara dessert in Africa or the dessert found in the middle eastern country. We didn't missed to tried the 4 x 4 ride, sand boarding and ATV Ride. Look how we enjoy our last day! It was just an AMAZING trip!
It's always a good time with you guys! :)
