So, this is what they called Global Village. I’ve been here in UAE for almost two years now but it was my first time going here and I can’t believe I had so much fun. Three times attempting to go here but now it’s for real with a help of one friend of mine. Okay, let me tell you something about this place
Save the best for last– "ikanga"! Since I've been in Puerto Princesa in just 3 days, I really wanted my last travel diary to be extra special. We spent our last day doing island hoping! Some people say when you see something for the first time you feel that there are butterflies flying around your stomach. Well I guess this is my feeling when I first see the beautiful islands around Puerto Princesa – I think I fell in love!
Palawan is beyond beautiful. Looking back at these photos just makes me want to go back there right now, forget the busy work world and just enjoy. There are two main colors you will find in this place – blue and green! I’m so amazed how the people of Palawan care the mother earth, I didn't even saw any single trash in the road and in the ocean.
Day two of our Palawan adventure begins with a tourist heavy itinerary! Since we arrived around afternoon on our day one Rj and I decided to call it an early night, we want to save our energy for the next day tour in Underground River because we got a tip that it was a long drive to go there.
We started the day with a cup of coffee and heavy silog breakfast meal. It was going to be a long day, so we need to fill ourselves tummies with a heavy and satisfying breakfast. (Forgive me for not taking pictures what we ate! LOL) "Part of the secret of success is to eat what you like and let the food fight it out inside" - Mark Twain Maybe some of you felt the curiosity few months back when I’m posting random pictures on my Instagram account while I’m in island. Ok, let me share you my quick but sweet escape in the beautiful island of Palawan. Yes, I flew to Palawan a couple of months ago. It was a very short trip with my man. Now we’re still on high welcoming the 2015, I think it’s a good time that I share this trip with you, starting with our first meal eaten there and of course a little #OOTD. Here’s what I wore the day we flew from Manila to Palawan. Even though it was an two-hour flight I wanted to make sure that I feel comfortable during the trip so I opted to wear this simple loose-fitting clothes and tacked it half way in a high waist short. Topped my clothes is a knit cardigan that i can easily remove whenever I feel hot. We're so lucky to have a sunny and fine weather during the month of November.
