Maybe it’s time to write something new. Here’s the #Feeling Food Blogger moment! It’s my first time to eat Ilocano dishes, so I decided to share with all of you what we ate during our trip in Ilocos. My friends and I love food trippings, and this is one of our favorite hobby way back college days. Well, yeah i missed them a lot LOL (please insert cheesy face here). I have no friends like them here in Dubai, so every time I got a chance to be with them we make sure that we didn't missed to eat plus chitchat like this! Ok, here are some Ilocano dish we ate.
Poqui-Poqui (with a naughty name), an Ilocano egg and eggplant dish. It’s not the best-looking vegetable dish in the world. But, OMG! it is one of the tastiest meatless dishes I’ve tried during our trip.
Aside from Longganisang Lucban, this is now included in my list as my second favorite Longganisa. The awesome Longganisang Ilocos!
Sizzling Bagnet I just love how the flavor is amplified by the exciting species. I find it innovative and unique of all sisig dish.
Dinengdeng It is also called inabraw. According to the Ilocano people it is similar to pinakbet, but unlike pinakbet denengdeng contains fewer veggies and more on bagoong soup base.
It was a SEA FOODS hunting during our second day in Pagudpod!
Nothing beats a classic. The crispy bagnet!
Chorizo de Laog Pasta (Pork Chorizo in marinara sauce, garlic and herbs) What’s not to love? This is my favorite pasta on their menu that I’ve never forget! The taste is great and fills you up just the right way!
P.S - You can find this dish in Saramsam Restaurant in Loag.

Empanada Another favorite! In fact, I can’t wait to get some of this once I go back in Ilocos. It’s the perfect rich taste I want during snack time. These empanadas are made of savory filling of green papaya, mungo, raw egg and chopped Ilocano sausage. It is wrapped by dough, colored orange with achuete, and is deep-fried rather than baked.
