Before the day end, we decided to go to Causeway Bay and Lady's Market. Let me tell you some information about the place. Causeway Bay or some call East Point is one of Hong Kong’s major shopping districts. It includes the thirteen storey Japanese department store like Sogo, Times Square, an indoor shopping complex, and Hysan Place although there also lots of smaller malls like World Trade Centre, Fashion Island, Fashion Walk etc. Causeway Bay is the most crowded and busiest areas in Hong Kong since it has lots of many trendy shops locally and even from Europe and United States country. Many shops are open until well after midnight.
If you are a thrift person I recommend you to go Lady’s Market with over 100 stalls of bargain clothing, accessories and souvenirs. Also very easy to get using the MTR, just get off at Mong Kok station, take D3 exit and walk along Argyle Street until you come across the markets. The makeshift stall lining the long street has some fantastic bargains. I swear if they give you HKD 150 you can get it down to HKD 80 and some cases even less!
Our night is not complete without tasting their street foods. It was so hard for us to take our order because the stall are surrounded by bunch of people shouting out their orders and another bunch still choosing what to get and getting harder because they’re not even speak English so we need to pin-point our order and got no idea how much it is. The squid tentacles are always big favourites so I need to taste it first followed by classic curried fish balls and various other random meats on sticks. There is also deep fried tofu, eggplant and green pepper as well as the rather delicious egg waffles for sweet tooth.
